Behavior Analyst (BCBA) / Clinical Supervisor

Position Summary:
The Behavior Analyst is responsible for the assessment, development, and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities. The Behavior Analyst provides direct supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), monitors client progress, and ensures services are delivered in accordance with ethical, clinical, and funding source standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Services:
- • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and skill assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, Vineland).
- • Develop, implement, and update behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs.
- • Collect, review, and analyze behavioral data to make informed clinical decisions.
- • Provide parent training and facilitate generalization of skills across environments.
Supervision & Oversight:
- • Provide direct supervision and performance feedback to RBTs and behavior technicians in compliance with BACB supervision requirements.
- • Conduct regular field observations and fidelity checks to ensure accurate implementation of programs.
- • Provide training and support to clinical staff on ABA principles and intervention techniques.
Documentation & Compliance:
- • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation including session notes, progress reports, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations.
- • Ensure programs meet all payer and regulatory requirements.
- • Participate in team meetings and staff development initiatives.
- • Respond promptly to clinical issues and escalations involving clients or staff.
Qualifications:
Education:
- • Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
Certification:
- • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – required
- • BCaBA considered for Assistant Behavior Analyst roles
Licensure:
- • State Licensure (e.g., LBA) if required
Experience:
- • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in ABA preferred for entry-level BCBAs
- • Experience with verbal behavior, NET, and DTT models preferred
Skills:
- • Strong clinical writing, data analysis, and interpersonal skills
- • Ability to lead and motivate staff
- • Proficiency in ABA software systems (e.g., CentralReach, Catalyst)
Working Conditions:
- • In-person sessions at center-based and/or in-home settings
- • May require lifting up to 25 lbs and responding to physical behaviors
- • Travel between client sites may be necessary
- • Must maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries
